Emerging Artist Series: Taylor Slonaker & Paramount Plus

Tue, Aug 10 7:00pm

Our Emerging Artist Series celebrates young talent, offering live performance opportunities in front of a supportive audience.

Taylor Slonaker is a musician, singer, and poet from Great Barrington, MA. She is very excited and grateful to perform at the Foundry, especially since Amy Brentano was her theater director/teacher at Berkshire Country Day School. She graduated from Monument Mountain Regional High School in 2019 and will be a junior at the University of Vermont in the fall studying English. She plans to get a master’s degree in Secondary Education.

Taylor has been involved with theater and dance since she was young and loves to perform. Some of her favorite artists are Matt Maeson, Pink Floyd, Kyle “Guante” Tran Myhre (Poet), Sufjan Stevens, Doja Cat, Glass Animals, and Fleetwood Mac. Taylor’s original songs and poems are inspired by moments in her life. She is an advocate for raw vulnerability in performance as a way to connect and empathize with others.

School’s out for SUMMER and you know what that means! Sunburns, sweat, gross smells, and bugbites–UGH! Thus came Paramount Plus! Join us for a phantasmagoric midsummer’s night of laughs and surprises…
