Emily Braden first appeared at the Foundry for a duo show with musical partner, pianist Misha Piatigorsky in the fall of 2020. She is elated to be returning with her trio to feature original music and fresh arrangements of songs from The American Songbook.
Boise, Idaho-born and Harlem-based for the last decade, Braden covers a lot of ground. Whether fronting an orchestra or leading a world-class trio in the heart of Manhattan, she has the innate ability to win the heart of any audience with her powerhouse vocals and striking stage presence.
Before the COVID-19 global pandemic, Braden toured regularly and could be seen every first Friday at NYC’s famed 55 Bar. She has performed at NYC’s Blue Note Jazz Club, Birdland Jazz Club and Minton’s Playhouse as well as on international festival circuits.
Throughout the COVID -19 pandemic, Braden has dedicated herself to the completion of her sophomore release “Cannon & Sparrow,” a long awaited follow up to her electrifying debut album Soul Walk. Her group Double Bass, Double Voice also released their debut album in 2017.

$25 – Table Seating: Guests are offered table service and may order from our full bar menu.
$18 – The Foundry Green (General Admission): Guests sitting on the green are welcome to bring their own chairs and/or blankets and may order canned beer and wine.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, there are a limited amount of pre-sale tickets available online. If the event is sold-out, but remains outdoors, there will always be general admission tickets available at the box office the night of the event.
