“Think happy thoughts and you’ll be able to fly,” Peter tells Wendy in the beginning of the story Peter Pan. This week we will fly to Neverland and explore pirate ships and mermaid lagoons while running around with Lost Boys. We will make pixie dust necklaces and Captain Hook pirate hats while turning into fairies with beautiful wings. We will learn songs, dances and theater games which will ultimately culminate into a final performance for parents and guardians.
Imagination Vacation is a program designed to help children ages 4-5 years, access their imaginative/ creative impulses through hands on crafts and ensemble building activities. Theater games and exercises fill the sessions, encouraging participants to express their ideas through joyful, playful outlets. The final session of each week will culminate in a showing of the process to family and friends at The Foundry.
