Have you ever followed a white rabbit down a rabbit hole wondering what you might find inside? What would happen if you could shrink to the size of an ant or grow to be as tall as the clouds? Have you ever painted white roses red? This week is filled with thinking outside of the box. We will embody Alice’s curiosity and explore a realm previously unknown through making art such as toilet paper roll teacups, a garden of talking flowers, mad hatter party hats, and many more whacky and eccentric projects. We will explore how to express stories and meaning through theater games, dramatic play, singing, and dancing with a final performance for parents and guardians.
Imagination Vacation is a program designed to help children ages 4-5 years, access their imaginative/ creative impulses through hands on crafts and ensemble building activities. Theater games and exercises fill the sessions, encouraging participants to express their ideas through joyful, playful outlets. The final session of each week will culminate in a showing of the process to family and friends at The Foundry.
