POSTPONED: Spilling The LGBTea

Sun, Apr 19 11:30am

Do you have questions about gender identity, about the way contemporary language is evolving, about labels we use to define ourselves and others? Do you enjoy a dainty cucumber sandwich and cup of tasty tea?

Come join us and members from our transgender community for afternoon tea and conversation. Let us dispel assumptions together, have a few laughs, and learn about each other in a welcoming format.

The Foundry’s Managing Director Noah Lewis Bailey will speak to the topics and then open the conversation with participants’ questions.

A proper afternoon tea is provided.

In alignment with The Foundry’s mission of creating a platform for unheard voices, the venue will be holding events for the month of April celebrating and raising awareness for the LGBTQ+ community in conjunction with “Biting My Own Teeth,” a collection of stunning self-portraits by photographer Miss Julia Grey.

Tickets: $10
