West Stockbridge Jazz Series – Lauren Henderson

Sat, Jun 19 7:00pm

Internationally acclaimed jazz and Latin jazz vocalist Lauren Henderson and her ensemble headline the first of The West Stockbridge Historical Society’s 2021-2022 live jazz concert series.

The recording artist, composer, and producer broke the JazzWeek–Top 5 chart with The Songbook Session (2020).

“…somewhere between a comforting whisper and a cogent declaration … [that] blurs bossa nova, Cuban bolero, lounge jazz and low-lit R & B, reflecting Ms. Henderson’s own mix of North American and Caribbean heritage.” – The New York Times

Coming soon in the series: performances from three diverse, greatly accomplished jazz musicians: Ned Rothenberg, Armen Donelian, and Yoko Miwa.

As always, donations to the West Stockbridge Historical Society’s Old Town Hall Restoration Fund are most welcome.
