Artist’s Unsettling Drawings Inspire Written Word Event

Artist Pat Brentano’s works on paper in the gallery at The Foundry, 2 Harris Street, West Stockbridge resonates with viewers viscerally in part due to the size of the drawings and her expressive line. Titled “Is There No Decency?” the show evolved from the artist soliciting selfies from women in response to the current administration’s blatant disregard for women’s issues, then translated them through pastel, ink, and charcoal into large “in your face” drawings.
