Upcoming Events at The Foundry

West Stockbridge – The Foundry is thrilled to announce a wide variety of events for the month of October.

Coming up on the 15th is Gypsy Layne & Co., a local burlesque company that combines dynamic dancing with live singing and bawdy humor, keeping the legacy of burlesque and vaudeville alive.

Berkshire-based storyteller Mary Jo Maichack will be sharing international folktales for an adult audience with Up Spoke Death on October 24th, weaving together music and puppetry to concoct spooky tales perfect for the fall season.

Rob Flax’s Boom Chick Trio performs October 26th–Rooted in equal parts hot swing, snarky songwriting, and lyrical storytelling, this energetic trio of virtuoso violin, guitar, and bass plus three part harmony vocals will transport you to a speakeasy somewhere in the back of a bar.

Finishing off the month are Brooklyn-based goth-folk musical duo, Charming Disaster. Composed of Ellia Bisker and Jeff Morris, their music draws from the tradition of Americana murder ballads with the dramatic flair of cabaret.
